Exit music
(Media Player)
Scant weeks remain before Rebus is set to retire, shuffling offstage from the career that has in many ways defined him. Will fine spirits, cigarettes, and his beloved music collection be enough to sustain him? And will retirement open a fulf between him and his long-time partner (and friend) Siobhan Clarke? As Rebus ponders his future, a final bit of work remains--an investigation into the murder of Russian poet. Far from cut and dried, the case brings Rebus and Clarke smack-dab into the center of interantional intrigue.
